Sub-processors
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These are the categories of service provider we rely on to run Laveeka, what each one handles and which country it operates in. We publish this so a client’s own privacy team can assess an overseas disclosure without having to ask. The named providers are commercially sensitive and are supplied on request rather than published. This page is referenced by section 9 and section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
1. How to read this page
A sub-processor is a company that handles personal information on our behalf so that we can deliver our services. Each one acts on our instructions and is bound to keep the information confidential and secure. We do not sell personal information to any of them, and none of them use it for their own purposes.
This page lists what each category of provider handles and the country it operates in. That is what a privacy team needs in order to assess an overseas disclosure, and it is published rather than held back.
We do not publish the names of the individual providers. The combination of tools behind our systems is commercially sensitive and is not something we make available to competitors. The named list is provided on request to a client or prospective client, under a confidentiality agreement where one is in place: hello@laveeka.com. Nothing in it is withheld from a client who asks.
2. Running the business
| What it handles | Where |
|---|---|
| Database, sign-in and private file storage for our own systems and for software we provide to clients | Sydney, Australia for the platform database. It was moved there from South Korea on 2 September 2026 and the former South Korean project, which held a fallback copy while the move was proven, was deleted on 4 September 2026. |
| Hosting and delivery of our website and web applications | United States |
| Receiving and routing enquiries submitted through the form on our website | United States |
| Email and calendar, ours, and where a client connects theirs, the calendar and mail data they choose to connect | Depends on the tenancy. Ours is Australian. |
3. Meetings and notes
These providers are involved only where a meeting is recorded. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy explains how we handle recording and how to decline it.
| What it handles | Where |
|---|---|
| Joining a video call to record it, and passing the recording back to us | United States, with recording infrastructure in Japan |
| Turning a recording into a written transcript | United States |
| Producing a written summary and a list of agreed actions from a transcript | United States |
Content sent to these providers is used only to return the result to us. It is not used to train models.
4. Changes to this list
We update this page when a provider is added, removed or changes where it holds data. If you have a client agreement with us that requires notice before we add a sub-processor, that agreement governs and we will follow it.
Questions about anything on this page, or a request for the named list: hello@laveeka.com.
